Who We Are

Silica Sound's mission is to create an outstanding glass guitar slide, that will comfortably and snuggly fit anyone's fingers and complement the player's style. The well received tone and comfortability of the slides will make playing with Silica Sound slides a unique experience.

Silica Sound has a commitment to reduce our impact on the environment. We re-use or recycle as much material as possible such as:

Our Wooden Display Stands that you may have noticed in the store are made from seconded or re-used wood (made in Oregon by wood-working master Mike Phelps);

We use the display stand in stores because it helps to eliminate waste packaging, and you get to find the PERFECT fitting slide for yourself;

Shipping and packaging materials are mostly re-used: bubble plastic, peanuts boxes and moving paper;

The company vehicle is powered by BIO-DIESEL.

We are constantly trying to reduce our waste, and recycle and re-use as much material around the shop and office as possible.
