The Mission

Silica Sound's mission is to create an outstanding glass guitar slide, that will comfortably and snuggly fit anyone's fingers and complement the player's style. The well received tone and comfort of the slides will make playing with Silica Sound slides a unique experience. We wish to enable people to produce brilliant music, through innovation and quality craftsmanship.

Silica Sound is owned and operated by Chris Davidson, and Situated in the San Francisco Bay Area.  

Environmental Impact

-Silica Sound has a commitment to reduce our impact on the environment. We re-use or recycle as much material as possible.

-We use wooden display stands in stores instead of waste packaging (made in Eugene, Oregon by wood-working master Mike Phelps). In the process, you get to find the PERFECT fitting slide for yourself by trying them out.

-Shipping and packaging materials are mostly re-used: bubble plastic, peanuts boxes and newspaper;

-The company vehicle is powered by BIO-DIESEL.
